I envision, catalyze, and craft cultural productions for media, organizations and communities. I create multi-format history and culture products that document, preserve, educate and inspire.

From developing museum exhibits, to producing radio programming and podcasts, to helping businesses use history as a marketing asset, I use history to build connections and provide meaningful context in the 21st century. 

I specialize in the maritime history of the North Pacific. I am Project Director of the Alaska Historic Canneries Initiative, Curator of Collections and Exhibits at the Baranov Museum, and a monthly columnist for Pacific Fishing.
